Each year, CalCC students, staff and the local community are blessed to be visited by Study Tour groups from Asia. To facilitate these one to two week visits, CalCC provides a carefully managed homestay program. We are very fortunate to have a wide network of genuine, supportive Australian host families who open their homes and share Australian life, laughter and a smattering of tears when it comes time to say goodbye.

CalCC has a team of motivated support staff for international groups, including coordinators, homestay specialists, TESOL qualified teachers, interpreters and even past student volunteers, who are highly motivated and thrive on engaging with students from other cultures. 

In April 2020, when onshore programs were put on hold due to COVID-19, CalCC students enthusiastically adapted to online engagement on campus and in their homes. 

We continue to incorporate some of the exciting aspects of engaging via video conferencing even now that international students have returned onshore.
