Study Tours

Study Tours

Caloundra Christian College students, staff and local community benefit hugely from interacting with short term Study Tour and Curriculum Immersion Program visitors from all over the world.

CalCC is especially proud of the high standard and worth of our homestay program, which has been running for more than 25 years, and we are grateful for our wide network of genuine and supportive Australian family hosts.

Since April 2020 onshore programs have been on hold due to Covid. CalCC students have enthusiastically adapted to online engagement with Japan, and similar Online Study Tours from elsewhere are being considered. We look forward to the return of onshore tours when it is safe to resume, but also to continuing to incorporate some of the exciting aspects of engaging via video conferencing.

We have a team of motivated support staff for international groups – coordinators, homestay, TESOL qualified and Queensland registered teachers, language support – as well as student leaders and even past student volunteers who relish in the opportunity to interact and engage with visiting students from overseas. In recent years our considerable experience has been utilised in other Sunshine Coast schools to enable them to run well-delivered programs under CalCC guidance.

If you are an overseas student, parent, school representative or agent wanting to make an enquiry about our short-term program opportunities, including ‘Study Tours’ and ‘English Immersion’, please contact the International Program Manager by emailing or call +61 7 5436 6777 between UTC/GMT 10.00pm and 6.00am Monday to Friday.

The Opportunity of a Lifetime
