Receptionist - full-time, term-time

We are seeking a receptionist to work full-time school terms only.

The Receptionist’s prime responsibility is to attend to and/or direct enquiries from parents, staff, students in a professional, friendly and efficient manner either in person, by correspondence or over the telephone.

You will be the main contact for parents, visitors, students, and staff.  You will need to have a positive, friendly and professional manner with the ability to relate well to a wide range of people, especially our students.  Schools are incredibly busy places so you need to be flexible, adaptable, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure.  You also need to have good computer skills, a clear, friendly telephone manner and attention to detail.  The successful applicant will have all of these qualities.

Applicants are required to demonstrate a Christian commitment consistent with the College’s Ethos and must have a current first aid certificate with CPR. Previous experience in the education will see you well positioned to be successful in this role.

Cleaner - Relief Positions

We are currently seeking casual cleaners to work at our College campus.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of College buildings, and must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to work two hour shifts (3.30pm to 5.30pm) within scheduled cleaning on any school day (Monday to Friday)
  • Professional and reliable cleaner, able to work without supervision and with high attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ability to cope with the physical demands of the job, and have excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Hold or be eligible to obtain a Blue Card from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian
