Secondary Teaching Positions for 2021

Caloundra Christian College is a Pre-Kindy to Year 12 independent Christian school on the Sunshine Coast. We are on an exciting journey of growth, change, and innovation which will see us connecting our College ethos and values with a bold, student-centred future; one which epitomises our core belief, that each child is unique and created in God’s image to succeed and live a life of purpose and fulfilment, and our core mission, to see our students and staff flourish.

We are currently seeking professional teachers who are passionate about helping young people learn, have the ability to provide an engaging program for students and have experience with Senior teaching in the following areas to commence in January to be ready for Term 1 2021

  • Maths
  • Legal
  • Biology
  • Fashion

 The availability of positions – full time, part time, fixed term contract or continuing – will be determined by the subject abilities of suitably qualified applicants received. Please stipulate within your application as to whether you hold any preference for, or limitation to, Full or Part time ability.

Position Description – Teacher

Lead Educator - Maternity Leave Contract

Caloundra Christian College is a Pre-Kindy to Year 12 independent Christian school on the Sunshine Coast. Our centre offers a unique set of options for families, incorporating quality Education and Care programs for Kindy and Pre-Kindy. The centre is open for 10 hours per day, for 48 weeks per year. Our service operates according to the new National Quality Framework and, our dedicated team is working together to meet the National Quality Standard. Our educators are committed to providing a safe, joyful, and positive experience for all our children and their families.

We are seeking professional and passionate lead educator for a maternity leave contract from 26 October 2020 to 16 April 2021 to work in our long day care room from 2:00pm to 5:30pm 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).

To qualify for this position, you must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent, a Working with Children Blue Card and are able to demonstrate a Christian commitment consistent with the College’s ethos.

Position Description – Lead Educator

Relief Positions - Lead Educator or Educator Assistant

  • Lead Educators – different shift times between 7:00am to 5:30pm
  • Assistant Educator – different shift times between 7:30am to 5:30pm (min. Cert III in ECEC)
