Various Teaching Positions - Secondary (Years 7 - 12)

We are currently seeking professional and passionate Secondary teachers who have experience in one or more of the following areas for a Semester 2 contract to commence Term 3 2019.

  • Legal (Years 11 – 12)
  • Essential English (Year 11)
  • English Communication (Year 12)
  • Pre-Vocational Maths (Year 12)
  • English (Years 7 – 10)
  • Students with needs

 The availability of positions – full time, part time, fixed term contract or continuing – will be determined by the subject abilities of suitably qualified applicants received. Please stipulate within your application as to whether you hold any preference for, or limitation to, Full or Part time ability.

Executive Assistant Position

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as the Executive Assistant to the Principal.  This role will provide professional, high quality administrative support to the Principal, coordinating a comprehensive and diverse range of administrative and customer services for the College community.  With a focus on operational excellence, this role is the first point of contact representing the Principal and requires strong organisational and computer skills in order to manage a high volume of activity, as well as client service skills, teamwork, diplomacy, and attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service

  • Excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes
  • Strong abilities to work independently and as part of a team promoting trust and respect
  • Administrative experience in an educational organisation and governance experience is desirable

Kindergarten Supply Teacher

An opportunity has become available in our Early Learning Centre for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood qualified teacher to join our vibrant centre on an ongoing basis for supply teaching for non-contact hours for our Kindergarten teacher on a regular basis.  Currently it is from 8:30am to 2:30pm one day a fortnight and 11:00 to 2:30pm the alternate fortnight plus any other relief work, during term time to cover leave absences.

Additional teacher relief work may be available in our College if successful applicant is registered with Queensland College of Teachers.

The successful applicant will hold a relevant Early Childhood degree and a current blue card or exemption card as well as a Senior First Aid certificate and is required to demonstrate a Christian commitment consistent with the College’s ethos.
