Hospitality, Humanities and English Secondary Teacher

We are seeking an innovative, and suitably qualified Secondary School Christian teacher to join the Hospitality, Humanities, and English faculty at our co-educational school.

The successful applicant will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, a passion for learning and teaching, a sound understanding of secondary school curriculum, and the ability to maintain positive relationships.

The position will involve teaching students in Years 7 to 12 and also assisting in the encouragement of extra-curricular activities. The applicant will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and excel in the subject areas of Hospitality, Humanities, and English.

Applicants must have a current Qld teacher’s registration, and are required to demonstrate a Christian commitment consistent with the College’s ethos.

Cleaner - Relief Positions

We are currently seeking casual cleaners to work at our College campus.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of College buildings, and must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to work two hour shifts (3.30pm to 5.30pm) within scheduled cleaning on any school day (Monday to Friday)
  • Professional and reliable cleaner, able to work without supervision and with high attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ability to cope with the physical demands of the job, and have excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Hold or be eligible to obtain a Blue Card from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian
